Norwegian pipeline natural gas supplies to Europe fell to 129.8mcm/d on Monday and even lower the past weekend, the lowest level since September 2016, as annual maintenance at Norway’s gas facilities reaches peaked last weekend and today, Gassco remit data show. Gassco made several smaller changes to the current maintenance schedule.
- Unavailable capacity from Norway’s gas fields and facilities stood at 222.9mcm/d today but capacity curtailments will ease back from Tuesday to 196.9mcm/d. Norwegian pipeline gas flows to Europe averaged 164.67mcm/d last week.
- Scheduled maintenance at Oseberg has been adjusted. Works will affect 25.5mcm/d on 3-6 September, 5.5mcm/d on 5-7 September and 10.5mcm/d on 7-16 September.
- Works at Aasta Hansteen will curtail output but 25.8mcm/d until 5 September, however, the duration remains uncertain.
- Works at the large Kollsnes processing plant with unavailable capacity of 153mcm/d will last until 7 September, from 7-8 September 83mcm/d will be unavailable and from 8-20 September 11mcm/d will be unavailable as well as from 20 September until 16 October.
- Annual maintenance at the Troll field limiting output by 123.5mcm/d has been extended by one day until 8 September. Additional works are scheduled on 8-9 September, curtailing capacity by 60mcm/d and on 8-10 September with 45mcm/d unavailable. 10mcm/d will be unavailable from 10 September until 5 October.
- The Visund field began maintenance on Saturday and will last until 7 September, affecting 17mcm/d of capacity. Visund added another 5.9mcm/d unavailability on 7-8 September.
- Works at the Karsto processing plant are scheduled until 17 September with 12.6mcmc/d unavailable capacity.
