EU Gas Storage Injections Dip to 21% Below Normal This Week

European natural gas storage injections have dipped further this week at 21% below normal with total gas in store up to 75.06% full on 21 June according to GIE data compared to the five year average of 58.7%. The lower injections comes amid the warm weather seen across Europe this week and with the ongoing Norwegian maintenance.

  • Net European storage injections have averaged about 3,040GWh/d in the week to 21 June compared to the five year average for the period of nearly 3,850GWh/d.
  • Storage in Germany is at 198.4Wh (79.1% full), Italy is at 155.7TWh (79.8%), Netherlands at 107.7TWh (75.6%), Austria at 77.9TWh (80.4%) and France at 78.9TWh (59.9%).

    • TTF WIN 23 down -2.8% at 49.5€/MWh
