EU LNG Import Capacity Planned Increases

Planned LNG import terminals could increase EU capacity from 1922TWh to over 3000TWh according to GIE data.

  • In EU And UK 7bcm/yr on regas capacity are currently built but not operational, 22bcm/yr is under construction and a further 155bcm/yr is currently planned. The biggest increases are planned in Germany, Italy, and Greece.
