HUNGARY
HUNGARY: EUR/HUF holds at the session's best levels, trading at 349.77 at pixel
time, as the Hungarian central bank deputy governor Nagy resigns from the bank's
vice governor position. Nagy was seen as one of the key staff overseeing the
NBH's expansionary monetary policy programme - some of the uncertainty clearly
being felt in the exchange rate today.
- Barnabas Virag, an NBH executive director, will take over the role on a
temporary basis.
- EUR/HUF holds below the Tuesday highs so far which become the first intraday
target at 351.08 ahead of Fib retracement resistance at 352.79 and the 50-dma at
354.03.
