EUR/PLN Inches Higher as Deputy PM is Fired

  • A government spokesman says the Polish Premier has sacked the deputy PM Gowin, adding that the government remains ready to work with Gowin's supporters, and is determined to see through the stimulus package.
  • EUR/PLN inches higher, crossing at 4.5787 at typing, jus shy of the session highs of 4.5817 printed at the NY crossover.
  • News follows tensions last week being raised over plans over a reform of the tax code, after Gowin's supporters decried the new rules as being unacceptable to business owners.
