EURO-DOLLAR: EUR/USD has eased from best levels and last trades 10 pips or so
higher at ~$1.1735.
- The pair had a brief look above the July 17 high ($1.1744), but failed to gain
any top side traction, peaking at $1.1750, with hourly resistance from July 09
($1.1765) providing the next level of upside interest. Support is observed at
the 55-DMA ($1.1708).
- Participants look to the ECB MonPol meeting, flash PMIs from across the EZ & a
meeting between U.S. President Trump and European Commission President Juncker
as the key EZ-centric risk events this week.
- Nearby notable FX option expiries for today's 10AM NY cut: $1.1700 (E2.12bn),
$1.1743-45 (E486mn), $1.1750 (E1.05bn).
