EURO-DOLLAR: EUR/USD last trades at $1.1290, barely changed on the day, after
adding 43 pips on Tuesday, amidst broader USD weakness inspired by a weak U.S.
CPI print. Brexit matters were also key.
- Bulls look for a break above the nearby $1.1292 level, which represents the
200-DMA. This would draw their attention to the 21-DMA at $1.1313. Conversely,
bears need a move through the broken down trendline from Mar 4 2009 at $1.1266
before challenging the 100-HMA at $1.1248.
- EZ focus turns to French & German CPIs due Thursday, as well as Italian & EZ
CPIs due Friday. Central bank rhetoric will be provided by ECB's Coeure later
today and by Rehn on Friday.
