EURO-DOLLAR: EUR/USD was dragged higher by the softer USD on Tuesday, with the
pair breaching the $1.1540/45 double top area, shifting focus higher.
- The rate last deals at $1.1575, just above the Aug 08 low ($1.1573), and just
below the 50% retracement of the move from $1.1851 to $1.1501. Above here focus
turns to the Aug 09 high ($1.1619). To the downside, bears need a close below
$1.1500.
- There is a limited EZ docket today, so focus is set to fall on the broader USD
theme & Fed meeting minutes ahead of Flash EZ PMI data due Thursday.
