Euribor Futures Softer In Early Trade

STIR

Euribor futures sit softer in early trade, with liquid contracts running flat to +0.5 ticks in the whites and -1.0 to -1.5 ticks softer through the blues.

  • Futures look through the dovish hike seen by the RBA overnight, which had prompted firming in local paper at the time.
  • Yesterday's headline/data flow was light, with ECB-speak from Nagel overnight not hitting wires.
  • German industrial production data was weaker than expected this morning, continuing the string of weak economic data coming out of the Eurozone's largest economy. Spanish IP was stronger than expected on a monthly and annual basis.
