*The release of weaker than expected US CPI data and retail sales witnessed
broad based dollar pressure with the rate spiking from the intraday low of
$1.1806 to fresh session highs of $1.1874. Momentum faded with the rate slipping
back towards $1.1855. 
*A fresh wave of dollar pressure as XAU received a further lift and US Tsys
yields fell further saw the rate grind out a fresh intraday high of $1.1875. 
*The dollar pared back its post CPI losses, as profit taking occurred at the
European close with the rate falling to pullback lows of $1.1832. 
*A fresh wave of dollar sales, in reaction to the FED's Kaplin comments "Tax
reform make sense, but not cuts that add to debt" witnessed the rate bounce
towards $1.1850. 
*In reaction to comments from President Trump on Iran, the rate dropped to fresh
pullback lows of $1.1811.
