*Euro-dollar traded sideways within a $1.1741-56 range in early Asia
*As UST yields moved higher the US dollar was broadly bid, Euro eased lower from
around $1.1750 to $1.1733
*Pullbacks were limited to $1.1743, as the benchmark 10-year yield jumped over
the 200-dma, the euro pushed lower to $1.1727
*Recovery efforts stalled ahead of $1.1740 into Europe, UST yields firmed,
supply re-emerged with a deeper reversal to $1.1721
*As the early dollar rally failed to build, support from the 200-wma cushioned
falls, rate was quick to pare early losses
*Strong German Saxony CPI squeezed to $1.1751, but soon faded
*Minor pullback encountered willing dip buyers ahead of earlier lows. The euro
gained a fresh bid tone, squeezed to recovery highs of $1.1773 and holds firm
*Option-related supply is noted at $1.1800 (Expiry E864mn). Focus turns to
German CPI data at 1200GMT.
