EURO-DOLLAR
EURO-DOLLAR: Euro opened in Asia at $1.1759 toward the middle of yesterday's
$1.1736 to $1.1788 range, where despite robust US data, Non-manufacturing
activity (ISM) rose to a 12-year high of 59.8, the dollar was broadly unchanged
on the day. In the absence of any significant economic data or scheduled events
in Asia, traders expect further sideways consolidation ahead of the European
open and release of ECB's September Minutes, which may offer further insight to
their QE tapering program. Resistance is located at $1.1788 (Oct4 high), while
initial hourly support is found at $1.1747.
