Eurogroup Picks Elderson For ECB Board Vacancy

Dutch central bank official Frank Elderson has been tapped for the upcoming ECB Executive Board vacancy succeeding Yves Mersch when his term ends in December, per Eurogroup president Paschal Donohue on Twitter: "The Eurogroup supports the candidacy of Frank Elderson for the position of new member of the ECB's executive board."
