Europe continues to face several potential gas supply risks this winter, stressing the importance of long-term gas supplies to the continent, Wintershall Dea’s CEO Mario Mehren said to S&P Commodity Insights.

  • "We are now well into the colder season. Three months ago we cautioned against complacency for this winter. And as we have seen in the past three months, risk to affordability and security of supply remain," Mehren said.
