Europe Earmarked €758bn Against Rising Energy Costs Since Sep 2021

Since the start of the energy crisis in September 2021, €758 billion has been allocated and earmarked across European countries to shield consumers from the rising energy costs according to Bruegel.

  • €646 billion in the EU, of which €265 billion earmarked by Germany.
  • €103 billion in the UK.
  • €8.1 billion in Norway.
