European PPA Prices Edge Down to 5-Session Low

European PPA prices moved down just slightly on 1 July from the previous session amid price falls in European gas and major European power markets, according to Pexapark. But PPA prices could be supported today as prices in the energy complex are up on the day.
- EU PPA prices edged down to €50.07/MWh on 1 July from €50.09/MWh on 28 June. This is the lowest prices have been since 24 June, when they closed at €49.71/MWh.
- PPA prices declined in all major European power markers, except the Nordics which rose by 1.18%.
- Solar PPA prices were also down, dropping by 0.21%, with offshore PPA costs up 0.12% from a 0.17% decline in the previous day, while onshore prices moved up further by 0.20%.
- France Base Power AUG 24 up 2% at 48 EUR/MWh
- Germany Base Power AUG 24 up 2.8% at 77.83 EUR/MWh
- EUA DEC 24 up 3.9% at 70.67 EUR/MT
- TTF Gas AUG 24 up 0.6% at 33.685 EUR/MWh
