Austria, Greece and Italy are due to sell bills this week, whilst Germany and France have already issued bills this week. We expect issuance to be E23.4bln in first round operations, up from E20.7bln last week.

  • Today, Austria will issue E1bln of the 2-month Jan 30, 2025 ATB and E2bln of the new 3-month Feb 27, 2025 Green ATB.
  • Tomorrow, Greece will sell E500mln of the new 26-week May 30, 2025 GTB.
  • Also tomorrow, Italy will sell E7.5bln of the new 6-month May 30, 2025 BOT.
  • Note that in addition to bills being sold this week, Italy also held a Specialist E2bln tap of the 0% Dec-24 BTP (ISIN: IT0005474330) yesterday, which only has 3 weeks until maturity (maturing on 15 December 2024).
