Germany, France, the ESM, Portugal, and the EU are due to sell bills this week. We expect issuance to be E16.2bln in first round operations, down from E30.3bln last week. 

  • This morning, Germany will sell E3bln of the new 12-month Oct 15, 2025 bubill.
  • This afternoon, France will come to the market to sell up to a combined E8.3bln of 14/25/31/51-week BTFs: E3.1-3.5bln of the new 14-week Jan 22, 2025 BTF, E1.5-1.9bln of the 25-week Apr 9, 2025 BTF, E0.3-0.7bln of the 31-week May 21, 2025 BTF, and E1.8-2.2bln of the 51-week Oct 8, 2025 BTF.
  • Tomorrow, the ESM will sell up to E1.1bln of the new 6-month Apr 17, 2025 bills.
  • On Wednesday, Portugal will issue E0.75-1.0bln of the 11-month Sep 19, 2025 BT.
  • Finally, on Wednesday, the EU will sell up to E1.5bln of the 3-month Jan 10, 2025 EU-bill and up to E2.0bln of the 6-month Apr 4, 2025 EU-bill.
