Exxon's Baton Rouge Overhauls FCC and Hydrocracker

ExxonMobil’s Baton Rouge refinery began a planned overhaul on its FCC and hydrocracker on Saturday according to Reuters sources.

  • The 110,000 bpd FCC and 23,000 bpd hydrocracker are shut for a two-month planned overhaul.
  • Exxon also intends to overhaul two of the refinery's four CDUs in Q3.
  • The 90,000-bpd PSLA-7 is scheduled to shut first in Q3. After that work is completed, the 210,000-bpd PSLA-10 will be shut for an overhaul. PSLA-10 is the refiners’ biggest unit.
