- Main developments: U.S. blacklisted eight Chinese tech companies, to which
Beijing For Min spokesman said 'stay tuned' on retaliation. Then SCMP sources
story said China delegation planning to cut short its stay in Washington by a
night, toning down expectations on a truce let alone a deal.
- Fed Chair Powell speaks later; Fed website says 1430ET on "Data Dependence in
an Evolving Economy" but event website (NBER) shows his session starting at
1350ET on "A View from the Federal Reserve Board of Governors" with moderated
