Finland Restarts works at Finnish-Swedish Power Link

Finnish TSO Fingrid has restarted works on the FI-SE1 interconnector after suspending maintenance on Tuesday due to the unplanned outage at the 1.6GW OL3 nuclear power plant on Monday, the TSO said.

  • The power link is expected to complete works on 23 June.
  • The interconnector has 1.1GW of capacity towards FI-SE1 and 1.5GW in the other direction. Capacity is currently lowered by 0.800-1.3GW.
  • The 1.2GW FI-SE3 interconnector is also undergoing planned works until 14 June - capacity is lowered by 400MW over the period.
