Finland's aFRR energy market out of use

Finland’s automatic frequency restoration reserve (aFRR) disconnected for the second time on Saturday, after having the fault fixed on 16 August (Friday), Fingrid said today.

  • The problem is currently being investigated.
  • The aFRR is a reserve in the power grid that helps to keep the grid frequency stable.
