Finland’s Inkoo Terminal to Open Winter Booking Slots on Friday

LNG

Finland’s Inkoo LNG terminal will open revised winter booking slots on Friday to ensure stable supplies after the shutdown of the Balticconnector pipeline, Gasgrid said.

  • The allocation will start on 27 October and close on 30 October.
  • Gasgrid initially suspended bookings following the shutdown of the pipeline. The FSRU is offering six regasification slots this winter.
  • Each slot is for a maximum capacity of 800 GWh per slot, although a different sized cargo is possible at the terminal operator’s discretion.
  • The provisional delivery windows for available slots are the following: Dec. 9-10, Dec. 26-27, Jan. 11-12, Jan. 27-28, Feb. 12-13, and Feb. 28-29.
  • A March slot has already been reserved during the Annual Capacity Allocation.
  • Gasgrid said that the situation of the Finnish gas system is stable. However, Finland’s Balticconector pipeline with Estonia is damaged and will not be fully repaired until April 2024 at the earliest.
