NZD/USD prints at $0.6180/85, the pair is up ~0.2% today.

  • The pair has firmed through today's session as the USD trims some of Monday's gain.
  • Resistance has been met at the 20-Day EMA ($0.6187), a level that the kiwi could not sustain a break of yesterday. A break through here opens 200-Day EMA at $0.6249 for bulls.
  • AUD/NZD is down ~0.2%, the pair deals at $1.0725/35. Bears look to break low from 28 Apr at $1.0683. The next risk event for the cross is on the wires in just over 2 hours with the latest RBA monetary policy decision, the bank is expected to hold the cash rate at 3.60%.
  • Looking ahead on the wires tomorrow is the RBNZ's financial stability report and Q1 Employment survey.
