First LNG Cargo From ADNOC Arrived At Brunsbuettel

ADNOC’s first LNG cargo arrived at the Brunsbuettel Elbehafen port on Wednesday and the commissioning of the FSRU remains underway, RWE said.

  • After arrival the LNG will be fed into the German gas grid via the Hoegh Gannet FSRU. The LNG is to be fed into the grid from the end of February as part of the commissioning phase of the FSRU, which is currently underway.
  • ADNOC shipped 137,000 cubic meters of LNG, equal to 82mcm of regasified gas.
  • ADNOC and RWE signed a MoU last year for several years of LNG supplies to be delivered to Germany from 2023.
