  • Fitch says Russia would be in default if it pays today’s $117m interest payment on its $-denominated debt in RUB – triggering the 30-day grace period window.
  • Additionally, another RUB-denominated payment from March 2 on 2024 OFZs has yet to be paid to foreign investors and brings forward the potential default day to April 1st on this payment and April 15th on the USD payment. – bbg
