Flattening on the open

Bund trades mixed since the German cash open, after bouncing half a percent off yesterdays low.

  • Yesterday afternoon saw some decent flattening, despite Bund being down some 100 ticks at one point.
  • This was mainly led by huge selling of the shorter end 3 months to 2yr, after what was one of the busiest session in a long time for Global rates.
  • Focus today, we have couple Data of interest, French/Spanish CPI,
  • Speakers sees ECB Schnabel, BoE Haldane, Ramsden and G20 presser.
