JGBS
JGBS: Focus continues to fall on fiscal matters, with NHK suggesting that the
Japanese government is considering a size of Y25tn for its economic stimulus
package. This is larger than the Y10-20tn that has been suggested elsewhere,
with the report noting that Y13tn of the package would be fresh fiscal spending.
- As a reminder, local fiscal matters and the broader global impulse on the back
of Chinese data/global fiscal matters weighed on the space on Monday, with a
degree of 10-Year JGB auction setup also evident in price action.
- Futures recovered from worst levels in overnight trade, finishing 2 ticks
above Tokyo settlement.
- The aforementioned 10-Year JGB supply headlines today's local docket.
