  • Q: If nothing much changes between now and the rest of the year, will you move because you said you feel you've need to, or would that require additional movement?
    • A: We don't go out of our way to surprise markets or the public, at the same time our main focus has to be getting the policy right and that's what we're doing here. The July meeting will be live, and we'll have to see.
    • Core PCE is running at 4.5%, a little higher - the SEP median sees it down to 3.9% by end-of -year, that's pretty significant decline for half the year.
