Freeport LNG Showing Slow Restart Progress

Gas supply to Freeport LNG has risen on Friday to its highest levels since it was shut last weekend ahead of Beryl making landfall.

  • Nominations to Freeport crept up to ~7% of normal operating levels for Friday, according to data compiled by BloombergNEF.
  • Flows are expected at 0.14 bcf/day on Friday – revised down from 0.3 bcf/day. Production was halted at 1.9 bcf/day.
  • Its restart appears to have taken longer than the market had anticipated, proving supportive for TTF this week.
