Freeport LNG Steadily Increasing Production
LNG
The Freeport LNG plant in Texas is steadily increasing production after prolonged maintenance since late January after a deep freeze had impacted one of the trains.
- The entire plant was shut earlier this month and has struggled to resume, facing another production outage last week.
- The facility is working to get its second production train fully up and running, according to Bloomberg sources.
- Pipeline gas flows to the plant are expected to rise by nearly 30% on Tuesday to the highest level in three weeks -indicating that more than one train is functioning according to BloombergNEF data.
- Freeports CEO said in March that maintenance at the facility would be concluded by early May.
