French Fin Min-Only 3 States Against Corp Tax Plan, Not Sure They're Unified

French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire speaking on the efforts to reach an internationally agreed corporate tax rate has stated that he 'regrets that the EU has not come together on a corporate tax accord'.

  • Says that there are only three EU member states that are objecting to the accord, and he is 'not convinced that they are unified.'
  • These comments come just hours after stating that the EU's digital levy is not intended to hit tech giants, and that it could be legally withdrawn if the OECD deal on corporation tax is implemented.
