French Nuclear Output Fell 2.26GW On Strike Action

French nuclear generation capacity has been curbed by 2.26GW on Monday afternoon until 10PM local time amid ongoing strike action, EdF remit data show.

  • Output has been reduced at the Gravelines 4, Gravelines 5, Cruas 2, Flamanville 2, and St Laurent 1 reactors.
  • Current hydropower output has been reduced by 6GW.
  • Strike action at EdF’s sites has been extended until 14 March 9PM local time.
  • Industrial action at France’s LNG terminals is scheduled to last until 14 March, while strikes at the Dunkerque LNG terminal have been extended until 17 March.
