French Strike Update – EdF Extends Belleville 1 Outage Amid Strike

EdF’s nuclear availability curtailments are currently at 860MW due to strike action, while hydropower generation capacity is reduced by 340MW, remit data showed.

  • EdF has extended the outage at the 1.31GW Belleville 1 reactor until Thursday 10:00PM CET, with reduced capacity of 860MW.
  • Hydropower generation capacity has been reduced by 340MW due to strikes, compared with 280MW earlier in the day.
  • Earlier in the day, output was reduced at the St Alban 2 reactor, as well as at the Flamanville 1, St Alban 1 and Dampierre 2 reactors that were reduced overnight.
