French Wind,Solar Subsidy to Rise in 2024-25

POWER

French subsidies for wind and solar units are anticipated to increase by 15.2%, or €1.1bn, for 2024-25 compared to 2022-23 due to a drop in wholesale power prices, regulator CRE said.

  • In 2025, subsidy levels would be just above €6bn, the CRE said, with PV support accounting for the total.
