STOCKS: Friday's impressive headline NFP reading has pressured Asia-Pacific
stocks as pricing surrounding the odds of a 50bp cut at the Fed's July meeting
was wound out of the market, with the latest escalation in the Iran situation
doing little to quell worries, although the latter was largely baked in ahead of
the weekend.
- Chinese stocks were also hampered by worry surrounding an impending flood of
IPOs.
- U.S. equity index futures also struggled.
- Nikkei 225 -0.9%, Hang Seng -1.7%, CSI 300 -2.8%, ASX 200 -1.2%.
- S&P 500 futures -5, DJIA futures -49, NASDAQ 100 futures -20.
