Fujairah Oil Products Stocks Fall for First Time in Three Weeks

Stockpiles of oil products at the UAE’s Port of Fujairah fell for the first time in three weeks as of June 10, according to Fujairah Oil Industry Zone data, cited by Platts.

  • The decline was led by a fall in heavy distillates used in power generation and ship bunkering.
  • Total inventories fell 3.9% on the week to 20.731m bbl in the week ending June 10, with all product categories showing a decline.
  • Heavy distillate inventories fell 5.9% to a three-week low of 10.068m bbl, while middle distillate inventories fell 5.3% to 3.526m bbl.
  • Light distillate stockpiles were down 0.1% to 7.137m bbl.
  • Overall stockpiles have increased 20% since the end of 2023.
