Fujairah Oil Products Stocks Hit Eleven-Week Low

Oil products stocks at the port of Fujairah fell by 10% on the week to 16.77mn barrels in the week to 11 December, the lowest since 25 September, according to data from the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone.

  • Stockpiles are down 19% so far this year, after rising 29% last year.
  • All products showed declines last week. Light distillates fell by 10% on the week to 4.298mn barrels, the lowest in six weeks.
  • Middle distillates declined by 4.9% to 3.039mn barrels, the first drop in five weeks.
  • Heavy distillates dropped by 12% to 9.434mn barrels, the lowest in seven weeks.
  • Exports from the port picked up this month at 344kbpd so far in December, compared with 311kbpd for all of November, Platts data showed.
