US TSYS/RESEARCH: /FUNDS: The iMoneyNet's Money Fund Report said that "US money
funds added total assets of $37.88 billion in latest week" ended Aug. 8th, with
"a substantial amount of the increase" reported in the Government Institutional
money funds category. 
- It said that "total (money) fund assets settled at $2.658 trillion for the
week. Taxable money-fund assets increased $37.39 billion to $2.528 trillion.
Government Institutional fund assets were up by $29.03 billion. Prime
Institutional fund assets rose by $3.49 billion. Taxable Retail fund assets
climbed by $4.88 billion." 
- It also said "tax-Free fund assets were up by $493.5 million, raising their
total to $130.73 billion." The report had 850 taxable money market funds and 227
tax-free and municipal money market funds reporting this week, it said.
