AUSSIE BONDS
AUSSIE BONDS: Futures followed the global impetus on SYCOM, running higher on
solid volumes, while ACGB yields have played catch up in early Sydney trade,
with questions over the health of the global economy front and centre.
- The flattening impetus has continued, with YM +1.5 ticks and XM up up 5 ticks
at writing. YM/XM trades at 42.5 ticks, with the cash equivalent at 40.3bp.
- Bills trade unchanged to 2 ticks higher through the reds.
- Global themes will likely dominate the space for the reminder of the week,
with participants eying details on the new ACGB June 2031 line in today's weekly
AOFM issuance announcement.
