Futures still hugging tight ranges,....>

AUSSIE BONDS
AUSSIE BONDS: Futures still hugging tight ranges, YM unchanged and XM +0.5 at
typing, with the approach of the end of the local financial year potentially
adding to the lack of activity.
- Local focus remains on COVID-19 matters in Victoria. PM Morrison suggested
that people from Melbourne hotspots could be quarantined for two weeks if they
leave the state. He also deemed it reasonable for states (excluding Western
Australia) to reopen borders in July, despite the uptick in Victoria cases.
- Next week's AOFM issuance schedule is a little light on duration, and ACGB
supply is set to "only" tally A$4.0bn across two auctions (number of auctions
likely limited by the end of the financial year).
- A peculiar round of ACGB '26 supply passed smoothly enough, added by the
relatively small auction size of A$1.0bn.
- Elsewhere, the ASX revealed that it aims to launch a 5-Year Aussie bond
futures contract in Q4.
