FOREX: G10 FX modestly corrected yesterday's risk-on moves as participants
assessed the ever-escalating Sino-U.S. tensions and global coronavirus
situation. That being said, the latest uptick in U.S. equity index futures,
which have turned green, has inspired the unwinding of earlier risk aversion.
Safe havens continue to lead gains in the space, albeit by very narrow margins.
Little of note in terms of regional data releases so far, headline flow remains
relatively thin, while the kiwi was unfazed by the RBNZ's latest FSR.
- Today's economic docket features Chinese industrial profits, Australian
construction work done and French consumer confidence. Fed's Bullard & Bostic,
ECB's Lagarde, de Guindos and Enria, Riksbank's Skingsley will speak.
