Gas Condensate Exports From Russia’s Yamal LNG up 15.8% Jan-Nov

Exports of gas condensates from Russia’s Yamal LNG field from Jan-Nov is currently at 0.88m mt, up 15.8% on the year, according to Reuters.

  • Gas condesnate shipments from Yamal in November to date stands at 80k mt, down 33% from October.
  • Two tankers, the Boris Sokolov and the Yuriy Kuchiev, are used to export gas condensates from Sabetta in the Arctic and can transport up to 40k mt of gas condensates. These are often taken to Rotterdam and Terneuzen.
  • Gas condensates are a type of light oil that is present within natural gas wells.
