Gathers Some Momentum

AUD gathering some momentum and shaking off COVID concerns, AUD/USD making fresh session highs at 0.7153 with gains of 21 pips on the session. Australian PM Morrison spoke earlier and said that individual states should stick to plans to reopen from lockdowns. A slightly softer greenback also helping AUD/USD rise, DXY last down 0.025 at 93.471, still above Friday's low of 93.434. The pair still has some way to run before hitting resistance which is seen at the Aug 19 high of 0.7250.
