STERLING: GBP has largely consolidated yesterday's Brexit-inspired gains ahead
of the NY crossover. GBPUSD failed around the 50-dma ($1.3042) and has since
settled around the $1.3020/30 area. A break above here confirms the bullish
trend, opening a move toward the August highs at $1.3143. EURGBP off its worst
levels of the session, trades Gbp0.8987. While GBPJPY extends its impressive
recovery off Aug 15 lows (Y139.90) to Y145.68. A break of Y146 opens key
resistance from the 100-dma at Y146.66, the level also holds the Aug2 high.
