GBP Hits New Daily Low on Further Brexit Ire

Bloomberg cites an anonymous source in saying that the UK is planning to quit Brexit trade talks if no deal is seen by October 15th.

This looks like a direct rebuttal to the BBG reports yesterday that suggested the EU would ignore the Oct15 deadline in an attempt to call Johnson's bluff.

GBP/USD sinks to hit a new low of 1.2846 before bouncing. Gilt futures mirror the move, rising back to flat on the session before fading slightly.
