*Despite this it was a low-key affair in Asia, with no significant news or data,
the pound oscillated between $1.3423-46, with little in the way of flow
*Topside gains were capped ahead of $1.3450 ($1.3448 - Asia low) in early
Europe, volumes remained light held to a narrow 15 pip range
*With moves driven by Eur/Gbp, short covering through the Asia high to Gbp0.8788
pressured cable to $1.3417
*Recovery efforts have so far remained shallow as markets look to BOE Chief
Economist Andy Haldane who will deliver a speech at 1315GMT.
