- CURRENT SITUATION (CS) expected to rise for 3rd successive month 
- Bloomberg Consensus: -13.5; Prev (Dec): -19.9 
- The CS index is trending down since the beginning of 2018 and is in negative
territory since July 2019.
- Dec saw the second consecutive gain since Oct's nine-year low (-25.3) 
- ECONOMIC SENTIMENT (ES) is forecast to improve to a 23-month high in Jan. 
- Bloomberg Consensus: 15.0; Prev(Dec): 10.7 
- Expectations rebounded in Dec to 10.7 which is the first positive reading
since Apr 2019 and the second since Mar 2018. 
- The timelier Sentix index is in line with market forecasts with the survey
revealing the third increase in a row in Jan. 
- January flash PMIs are due on Friday and are expected to post gains as well
after Dec's composite PMI noted that firm's expectations about future activity
improved.
