BUNDS: German FI futures have tracked the core global FI space, moving back from
best levels late on Wednesday, as Tsys eased; Schatz last -1.5 ticks, Bobls -7.0
ticks, Bunds -20 ticks.
- Bund futures operate just below yesterday's lows after trade war worry, the EU
sending a letter to Italy re: its fiscal situation (local press have suggested
that Italy will tell the EU that budget tightening would be a mistake) and the
re-emergence of tensions surrounding the EU helping Iran to find a workaround
re: U.S. sanctions provided support during European hours yesterday.
- 10-Year yields closed ~2.5bp off of the all-time low, with EUR 5Y5Y inflation
swaps closing below 1.3%, marginally.
- Italian supply will garner interest today.
