German Grid Operators Applied For Hydrogen Network

Germany’s grid operators applied with Bnetza for the country’s core hydrogen grid network which will gradually start up until 2032, Bnetza said.

  • The hydrogen network will have a total length of 9,666km, including 60% of conversion from previous natural gas lines.
  • Bnetza is planning to issue the approval of the application within two months, after which construction can start.
